Land Acquisition Manager

The successful candidate will have widespread experience across the property sector ideally with a focus on residential land and will be able to demonstrate experience in the acquisition of land and development opportunities.  This is an exceptional opportunity for an energetic, confident and ambitious individual.  Reporting directly to our Directors, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying high quality development opportunities and converting these into live projects.
  • Site identification, due diligence and coordinating the legal process in finalising a promotional agreement or unconditional land acquisition.
  • Building a robust and profitable pipeline of new projects in accordance with our corporate growth strategy.
  • Cultivating good working relationships across a wide business network.

Senior Planner

The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree and chartered membership of the RTPI or RICS, and will have a minimum of three years’ experience working in the private and/or public sectors.  You will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the planning system, have good communication, numeracy, literacy and IT skills and have a thirst for success.  Reporting to our Strategic Planning Manager, you will work on:

  • Evaluating and promoting a diverse portfolio of development projects, including residential, commercial and mixed-use schemes.
  • Supervising the work of teams of consultants on projects.
  • Helping to ensure efficient and effective day to day project management

Graduate Town Planner

The successful candidate will be expected to hold, or soon hold, a relevant degree, with eligibility to become a full member of the RTPI, as well as be able to demonstrate familiarity with planning legislation, procedures and national guidance.  You will have excellent analytical and written skills, ideally already have some relevant sectoral experience and will be able to show that you are a team player who is quick to adapt.  The role will include:

  • Appraisal of new development opportunities
  • Preparing reports and presentations
  • Engaging with a wide range of professionals within both public and private sectors
  • Supporting senior colleagues to progress projects from inception to completion

You will be supported in your career progression and a range of CPD and other training opportunities will be available to you.

Database and Research Administrator

The successful candidate will ideally be educated to at least A-Level standard, be commercially aware, have significant relevant workplace experience and possess excellent analytical, numeracy, literacy and IT skills.  You will relish a challenge, have an ordered and inquiring mind and enjoy working in a busy, friendly and supportive office environment. 

The role will predominantly comprise:

  • taking responsibility for the day to day management of our in-house database resources
  • carrying out targeted property research with a minimum of supervision
  • drafting presentation materials within tight deadlines

There will also be a need to carry out some general ad hoc administrative support duties as part of the wider team.
